Channel 4 Attempts to interview Lakin (Ex Council Leader)

Channel 4 reporter Ciaran Jenkins attempts to question the former Rotherham council leader Paul Lakin over the damning child sex abuse report.

It is soon very clear that Lakin wants to run away and hide.  No change there.             Further on Jenkins questions Labour councillors on the steps of the Town Hall and it will not come as any surprise that at least two of them do not accept the Casey report and are in denial.  Why would an innocent person refuse to speak to a TV reporter and put their side of the argument?                                                                                                     It is accepted that denying there is a problem does not make it go away. Hence the repeated statements by Burton, Dalton and St.John: ‘We did not know’.                     Sorry guys and gals, the Jay report and the Casey report say otherwise. In her report Alexis Jay states quite firmly “No one can say they did not know”. End of.           It is interesting to note that not a single Labour councillor has the courage to give an interview to any media outlet to explain what went wrong and why RMBC allowed these crimes against children to continue.

Anston’s Floundering Four-Beck,Burton,Dalton and St.John are involved in lesser or greater degrees with the CSE scandal that has crushed Rotherham and until these people and every other Labour dinosaur councillor is removed and swept away with the rest of the rubbish Rotherham cannot move on and make a fresh start.                        The Labour  party is discredited in Rotherham by the scandal of turning a blind eye to Pakistani grooming-rape gangs whilst accepting large numbers of fraudulent votes secured for them by former Asian councillors. Who may be prosecuted for other crimes.

Meanwhile Miliband stays silent.

Louise Casey makes it very clear that Labour councillors were and are in denial about the scale of CSE in Rotherham.
It’s very strange that Lakin chose to cut and run from the C4 reporter considering he was very vocal in council cabinet meetings where he often stopped legitimate questions from members of the public and UKIP councillors-or refused to answer them at all.
Dalton canvassing in Anston with Sir Kev shows she has absolutely no integrity and no shame. She cannot under any circumstances pretend this whole saga is a flash in the pan and will soon be forgotten. There is wholesale public disgust at the behaviour of Dalton, Beck and Burton and it is thanks to blogs like this that their complicity in the cover up is exposed.
Vote Labour? I’d rather skewer my eyeballs.

It will not have escaped your attention that since the Casey Report was published and RMBC Cabinet members and councillors resigned Miliband has remained quiet. Silent as the grave even. If he sees himself as PM material then why has he not condemned the Labour party members who are responsible for this mess? “Qui tacet consentire”: the maxim of the law is “Silence gives consent”. ‘Nuff said. .

Looking at the number of new hits on the top right hand side of the front page, it seems that this site is gaining momentum. Or could it be that Labour are scanning it in panic.
Its my understanding that “the Independents” will be out in force for the May Elections, with lots of candidates standing, so watch this space.
Anston can only get better, under an Independent controlled Parish Council.

    ‘ Miliband stays silent’
It is because Labour councillors stayed silent as well that CSE in Rotherham reached epic proportions. Lakin, Hoddinott and the former Monitoring Officer Jacqui Collins decided to sweep this scandal under the carpet and pretended it had gone away. What an unholy mess the Labour council has created and, like the Brown government they leave office and someone else has to clear this mess up.
Sir Kev has also stayed quiet. As a ‘concerned’ (?) MP he only appears in Anston when it is election time. He’s another part-timer like Dalton.
We need better people than the current shower to represent us in Anston.

.Cheek of it, Sir Kev Barron, he who has been missing in action for the last five years in our Parish, was round and about in South Anston door knocking. What is more shocking is that he was .accompanied by RMBC Judy Dalton. In the Casey report she is savaged as Chair of the Taxi Licencing Committee. Why would he want to be seen with someone who may well be stepping down very shortly. Sir Kev was also seen on the stump very recently with our very own Cllr Dominic Beck, he who has just accepted he was part of the CSE problem at RMBC by resigning from the Cabinet. Such poor judgement.
What was also interesting was that they were also seen with Ex Anston Parish Cllr Judith Reynolds, She was or still is a Magistrate, why would she want to be seen with people associated with CSE and the Cassey Report.
    The shame carries on.

Is Reynolds going to stand as a candidate to replace one of Anston’s duds? Judging by her comments at APC meetings she is as bad as the rest of them.
